Cru/Ves can heal, off-heal and off-stun inbetween. Two of those four are decent choices against a Shambler (can melt the Clappers with DoTs, Battlefield Medicine if you really want to cleanse their DoTs, one of the best stuns in the game, Riposte (which is a natural Shambler melter) and Point Blank Shot (which can melt Clappers if you go before them), etc. It's not amazing, but it's a good baseline to look for. Best Healer in the game, mobile stress healer/stunner, mega-stunner with DoTs to bypass prot, and a mobile assassin with solid damage from anywhere who can also use bleed to bypass prot). Not many people like the very first comp you get when you start the game but they are one of the most balanced comps you can get that have a lot of what you need and serve as a good baseline for anything. If they can handle that, they can typically handle the standard fights (zone dependent). When thinking of Torchless, I tend to just think of the Shambler. You also have to consider less scouting chance and higher possibility of being surprised/shuffled each fight.Ĭan your comp manage stress? Can your comp recover health in a pinch? Can your comp function after shuffles? Can they take down a completely random and unannounced Shambler if need be (which also has shuffles)? If so, it'll be fine. The threats of torchless = the increased stress, likelihood of crits (also a stress problem and typically come with bigger health damage), and roaming Shamblers.
